FOREVER 《我爱你爱你爱你》Movie Review

Local Production Movie by Singapore director Wee Li Lin （黃理菱）, starring Taiwanese actor Mo Tzu Yi （莫子儀）, Singapore's award-winning actress Joanna Dong （董姿彥)

Synosis of the movie :

Since she became a flower girl at the age of eight, JOEY has been in love with the idea of finding that special man and being his bride. So much so that she got a job as a video consultant at the Wedding Education Department (W.E.D.).

There, Joey shares the art of getting and marrying a man, through her romantic 'faux' wedding videos, which are screened to young singles all over Singapore. But the idea of fantasy and reality are blurred as Joey falls madly in love with GIN, a handsome music teacher from Taiwan. They appear together as bride and groom in a landmark W.E.D video that will serve as a prelude to their upcoming nuptials.

But soon her bubble is burst. A beautiful girl, CECILIA, claims to be Gin's real fiancée while Gin claims that his affection for her was strictly for the video. Not letting her childhood dream go, Joey pursues Gin to make him see that she is his true bride as she sees his true heart. As her work mates, family and Gin begin to find out who she really is, will Joey's relentless drive to restore the happiness and joy she once knew also be her ultimate failing and undoing?

My Thoughts of the movie :

I was given the chance to watch the movie , bringing along yingzi for the movie. Overall this movie is not bad.To be honest, first few mins of the movie, I got the want to walk away feeling from this movie. Because it was quite draggy and I could not understand what is this story about. But towards the later half of the movie, I start to realise the whole story.

Joey was someone with abit of mental problem is under medication but was obsessed with this guy , GIN who work with her to produce a wedding video. Then She tries to snatch GIN away from CECILIA who is the fiancee of GIN ! The ending was quite a surprising one. I shall let you guys discover the ending yourself. Part of the scenes were funny and eerie ! It was a movie which will make dont know to cry or laugh. LOL ! Somehow this movie is telling Singaporeans to GO FOR THE GUY OR GIRL YOU LIKE , GO ALL OUT ! and you will get him or her one day. Im also glad to see many scenes filmed in Singapore ! So COOL !

Love Cuts

Oh yea ! Movie Review for Love Cuts !

Thanks to Omy I was given the chance to watch this local production movie by a 3month year old film production call Clover films !

Below is the trailer for Love Cuts, Do watch it to have a simple understanding of what the story is about kay hah ! :)

The feeling I got from this story was that, they were trying to portray the importance of the support from family and friends when a mother got breast cancer.. the role of the son in the movie gave me most impression because Im a son my mum too ! and I know guys is not as obedient as a daughter and we are mischievous most of the time when we are young and never once thought of our mother's feeling.

However, Upon knowing that Zoe Tay ( Known as Sissy in the movie ) was diagnosed with cancer, he starts to grow more mature and help out in any way to let her mum rest more. I like the story of him using a LOMO to capture the interaction between her family members during the period when Zoe tay was doing chemo.

Sorry for the cui hair :( haha ! :P

And after the whole movie we had a session of interaction with the 2 scriptwriter..

I was surprised there were quite a few cancer patient who were there to watch too and they were touched by the movie because some felt homely as Cantonese were used in the movie which we do not often see in Singapore.

When the session end we had a photo with the 2 scriptwriters as well !

Lastly, I would like to say a great job to this local production which I feel was a very useful and meaningful movie for the locals in Singapore. I recommend even males to watch this movie though it's more targeted to the females ! The model Inside also quite hot kay HAHA ! :P

Movie Night Out " DESPICABLE ME "

Hello Everyone !!! (Review for Movie is Below )

I had a great movie yesterday !!! And yes ! itssss DESPICABLE ME !

thanks to Omy , I was given a pair of tickets ! So together I brought Don along !

Upon reaching we saw 2 mascot !!

Had a photo with the mascot first when we reached the place ! SOOOOOOOOoooo DAmn cute !

And while waiting we went to take some stickers ! So cuteee ! hahah !

See See ! Nice right ! Dun jealous :P

Jiaqi where you looking? haha ! After all reached , we collected our tickets and went for the movie !

After the movie, they had an interview, due to my ugly teeth, I skipped that :D

IF you ask me about this movies ! I can remember AGNES the most !

She is so cute !

In this movie, it shows how love for a children can change how an adult behaves.

GRU the main character in this movie, Changed his bad behaviour of being a bad guy to a father-liked guy towards the 3 girls, agnes, edith and margo !

They have to fight against the bad guy call VECTOR !

and here are the accomplices too !

They are also very cute !! especially their behaviour ! So blur !

And in the end ! of course they almost lost each other but NO ! they were back together happily ! As for how they got back together ? IM not gonna tell you :p !
